Navarre Beach

Navarre Beach is a cozy, seaside community a short drive east from Pensacola, and only a few minutes from the Gulf Islands National Seashore.  The area offers something a little different than other beach communities found in Northwest Florida, shying away from a purely luxury approach to focus more on low-key, family friendly fun.  In lieu of high-traffic tourism, high-end shopping, and bunched housing, Navarre Beach takes great pride in its over 12 miles of largely unaltered shoreline and natural beauty, lending to its moniker of one of the Emerald Coast’s “Best Kept Secrets.”  Keeping to this, Navarre Beach offers a wide range of outdoor activities and natural attractions that best showcase the area’s immense native charm.

Neighborhood Make-up

Navarre Beach is also a great option for those looking to live high without breaking the bank – with a cost of living 8% lower than the national average!  Where nearby communities such as Destin and areas of Scenic 30A tend to focus on a combination of beach and city luxuries, Navarre Beach relies more on the integration of housing with stunning natural spaces.  The area features a wide variety of home styles – such as Spanish, Ranch, and Contemporary and Modern – in single-family, condo, town home, and cottage options.  Popular rentals include Summerwind Resort, Belle Mer Condominiums, and a wide assortment of homes on both on the Gulf, and along Santa Rosa Sound.

Entertainment & Shopping

While areas along 30A and Destin often take the spotlight when talking about local entertainment & live music, Navarre Beach has a lot to offer in the realm of good fun.  Juana’s Pagodas, in addition to being home to Sailors’ Grill, is also a great place to unwind, offering guests a deck bar featuring live music, the climate controlled Club Pagodas, and a take out window for a quick beach bite!

Most of the fun to be had in Navarre Beach, however, is in the water.  Gulf Coast Fishing Charters, and rental services such as Navarre Family Watersports and Sage Paddle Company offering rentals of paddle boards, kayaks, scooters, and other beach necessities.  The island is also home to many beach shops, like The Boardwalk Shop and NAV BCH.
